Organising events in Solihull

• consider and plan for problems that may happen

We programme events across the borough and make sure that any applications effectively demonstrate that the event organisers have considered all of the above.

Filming on council-owned land

You need permission to film on council-owned land.

This includes:

• parks and open spaces
• town centres
• within council buildings

You also need permission is you are filming within with any type of drone.

You can apply for a permit at Film Birmingham, who process applications on behalf of the Council.

Invitations for the Mayor

If you would like the Mayor or Solihull to attend your event, you need to complete a Mayoral invitation form.
