As a carer you may be able to claim benefits to help you with your caring role.
There are several ways you can access support including:

It's important to understand that any benefits you receive to help with your caring role could affect the benefits of the person you care for.
You may be entitled to a carer's direct payment to support you in your caring role following a carer’s assessment.
If you have been assessed and have a support plan, your benefit entitlement will be discussed as part of this with your social worker or a support worker from Carers Trust Solihull.
