The death can be registered by:
- a relative of the deceased
- the partner of the deceased
- a representative of the deceased
- someone present at the death
- someone who lives in the house where the death occurred, if they knew the deceased
- another person living at the house, if they knew of the death
- the person making the arrangements with the funeral directors
