Giving notice
Unless you are getting married in a Church of England, you must give Notice of Marriage at your local Register Office .
Certificates
Marriage or civil partnership certificates are official copies of your registration and cost £12.50 each.
You can purchase certificates when you book your ceremony, making it easy to have everything arranged in advance.
