Solihull Council is an accredited Regional Delivery Centre with 1st4sport.
We work alongside The Bikeability Trust to deliver the 1st4Sport Level 2 Award in Instructing Cycle Training.
Once qualified as a Cycle Training Instructor, you will be able to deliver cycle instruction as an independent instructor and Bikeability training to children in schools and adults.

Malcolm and Andy were experienced and knowledgeable trainers with practical advice and skills they could share.
The on-road teaching was spot on, demonstrating a high level of professionalism, empathy and confidence. The course was delivered with passion and enthusiasm which was a great motivation, encouraging us all to deliver Bikeability training to a high standard in our own work.
The instructors were very knowledgeable and approachable.
There was a good mix of visual aids, white board, flip chart and practical demonstrations. Prior to the event, the prompts about what we needed to complete were very useful.
